Ajay followed his dream as a first-generation entrepreneur to create India’s answer to the Big 4 and brings that experience to guide Baker Tilly ASA India. Besides providing vision and strategy, Ajay also directs the Advisory teams which guide clients on potential business partners, joint venture candidates and acquisition targets in India.
A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with merit, Ajay has done an Executive Education Programme from Harvard. He is also a member of the governing council of India Japan Business Cooperation Committee, FICCI and Asian Confluence, a think tank to promote North East Region. He also sat on the board of SCS Global, Japan and Mahindra Industrial Park, a joint venture between Mahindra Group and Sumitomo Corporation.
A visionary leader, he was bestowed the “Innovation Leadership” award at the World Innovation Congress, 2023. A member of several Indian and international trade and industry forums, he is a prolific speaker on national and international forums. A history buff, fitness enthusiast and an intrepid traveller, his philanthropic leanings found voice in Rotary Club activities for social upliftment.
