Sunil is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) who carries 37 years of experience. He was the Senior Audit Partner for 24 years at S R Batliboi (an EY member company), its Office Managing Partner for Bangalore and a member of the Assurance and firm’s leadership for about 15 years.
Sunil has extensive experience in financial reporting under Indian GAAP/IND AS/IFRS, various aspects of corporate governance, Risk Management, Internal Financial controls, and IPOs. During his career, Sunil participated and led audits of large listed MNC, Indian companies and strategic growth companies in Information Technology, Engineering & Construction, Pharmaceutical and Biotech, Healthcare, Infrastructure including Roads, Airports and Energy, Airlines, Financial Services and Real Estate sectors. Sunil was a co-opted member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of the ICAI during 2014-15 and is a member of the Financial Reporting and Review Group, Bengaluru for the last 6 years.
